About Digital Street Light Time Controller with Energy Meter

Powertrac Smart Street Light Time Controller is an integrated street lighting management system designed for automatic scheduling, control and energy monitoring of street lighting systems. The unit combines a digital programmable timer, switching/contactor control and energy metering in a compact enclosure.

The controller allows users to program daily, monthly and yearly time schedules through the front keys. It incorporates a real-time clock, overload protection and an inbuilt latching relay for load disconnection. An astronomical calendar-based timing option is also available for applications requiring automated lighting schedules based on astronomical timing.

The system provides an optical communication interface, with RS-485 and GPRS-based communication options described in Powertrac's product literature, allowing the controller to be integrated into energy monitoring and remote-management applications.

It is suitable for street lighting networks, municipal lighting systems, glow-sign boards, ATM facilities and other scheduled outdoor electrical loads.
